This was a battle to be seen. Multiple lead changes, a safety, and a "scoop-n-score" on a fumble- all in the first half. These two Titans went toe to toe for four quarters until Canyon West scored in the last minute to take a 35-32 lead. However, the team coached by former Dallas Cowboy Great Jason Whitten would not be outcoached on this night as Liberty Christian kicks a FG with two seconds left from over 40 yards to send this one to OT tied at 35.
Canyon West did not score on the first drive of the extra period, But Liberty Christian was able to punch it in on a sweep from 7 yards out for the win. |
